Best Hour of the Week:
Who do you know?
A couple Saturdays ago, a few of us were at the Farmington
Community Expo, letting hundreds and
hundreds of people know about Light of the
World. But did you know that 99 percent of
people come to a church because someone they
KNOW invited them? Everybody knows someone
who's searching for something. Invite them
in.

What will the future of
LOTW be like? Now that we’re into our third year,
it’s time for us to gather and have a deep conversation
about our future. We’re going to hold a whole bunch of
house meetings in February and the first half of March
to celebrate what God is doing, discern about buying
land, plan for our financial independence day coming
soon, and re-commit to our mission. Big stuff! That’s
why our goal is 100 percent participation. Sign up after
worship. God has an amazing future in mind for us. Come
be part of co-creating it. Questions? Ask Pastor Deb at
deb@lotwl.com or Jeremy Mann at themanns@frontiernet.net.
Looking for a few good
men! Over the last several weeks I’ve spoken to
almost all LOTW men about assistance in loading the
trailer after worship. Thank you for your positive
replies! You can help by: 1) Pitching in whenever you’re
here! 2) Signing up for a future date on a sign-up sheet
by the donuts. 3) Replying to the email you received
with your preferred date. Pictorial loading directions
are posted inside the back trailer door. Experienced
trailer‑loaders can provide guidance. Additional
questions? See Lana or send an email to
lana@lotwl.com
Are you in fourth through
6th grade? Do you wish you could go on a mission
trip, but don't want to go away for a week? We have the
coolest news for you!!! Light of the World wants to take
our 4th-6th graders to Camp Serve this year. It's a day
camp mission trip built just for this age group with no
overnight sleeping or long car rides. You'll play games,
meet people, and work hard for your community and still
be home in time for dinner. We will be going up to
Richfield for the week of August 2-6 (the same week the
older youth are going to Milwaukee). Cost is $119, with
$40 due with the registration by February 15. For more
information, go to
www.campserve.org or talk to Dawn.

maintence, projects and other work as needed. If you are
